SINOPSE DE A HISTÓRIA DE ADÈLE H.
Halifax, 1863. Uma jovem mulher usando o nome de Lewly chega ao local com o objetivo de achar o tenente Albert Pinson (Bruce Robinson), por quem é obcecada apesar dele ele não lhe corresponder o amor. Na verdade ela é Adèle Hugo, segunda filha de Victor Hugo, o grande escritor francês. Esta situação a deixa em um desespero crescente, ficando perturbada e a levando a um processo de auto-destruição.
